Arjun eventually realizes how little control he has over the situation as the live concert develops. Ankita reveals that Arjun took a payment to conceal the news of the construction workers’ deaths. He had been demoted because he had endangered their lives while mending the bridge. Ankita blackmails Arjun by claiming that if he follows her directions, she will preserve his job and reputation.
